Students in Miss Dominguez’s class used a tool called Apollo for a lesson on angles. The teacher had set up the lesson so that students could not only identify the type of angle they saw, but students were also asked to draw an example of an angle. Different examples were provided so that students could practice drawing acute, obtuse, right, and straight angles. The teacher also used a feature to randomly select a student and show their work on the screen – the student could also show their learning on the fly. Students were engaged throughout the lesson using their touchscreen Chromebooks.
